The platform recommendation should identify its assumptions, subgrade conditions, plant configuration, proposed construction and relevant limitations. A certificate or recommendation cannot cover equipment or operating conditions that were not included in the assessment.
Why inspection and maintenance still matter
Working platforms can deteriorate through wet weather, rutting, repeated trafficking, poor drainage, excavation, local repairs or changed loading. A platform assessment does not replace routine inspection, site safety management or maintenance.
Saturation, pumping, significant rutting, edge damage or a change in rig configuration should prompt the responsible project team to reassess whether continued operation remains appropriate.
